The Friends is our school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA) made up of enthusiastic and friendly parents and carers who organise and run events throughout the year. We work in partnership with the school and our aims are:

• to raise funds to support the school in providing facilities and equipment which advance the education of the pupils.

• to develop effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school, whilst providing engaging events for everyone as part of the fundraising effort.

Throughout the year we run several events with our biggest fundraiser being the annual May Ball, a chance for parents to dress up, enjoy dinner, drinks and dancing with friends. For the grown-ups we also hold a Quiz Night, a Curry Night and a Parents’ Christmas Party.

We run seasonal craft sessions for the children plus Movie Nights, a Christmas disco and a summer Football and Dance event.

Our all-family events include a Fireworks Display, the Christmas Fair and Summer BBQ. We like everyone to get involved and to have lots of fun doing so.

The money we’ve raised in recent years has helped pay for iPads, Chromebooks, reading books, a projector and sound system for the hall, cameras, outdoor play equipment and music and drama workshops, to name but a few.

We are indebted to all our Friends members for their efforts in planning and running the events. Likewise, our gratitude extends to everyone who supports us by volunteering, sponsoring and donating to help us to achieve our objectives. Without this help it would not be possible to succeed.
