Coulsdon Church of England Primary School is a small, friendly and inclusive primary school, with the children at the heart of everything we do.
We have a strong Christian ethos and our mission is that all children in our school will be ‘Together, growing in mind, body and spirit’ in a community where Christian values are celebrated and encouraged. We aim to support all children as they grow as learners and as young people, equipping them with the skills they need to flourish in today’s diverse world.
A strong sense of community and togetherness is at the heart of our school and we enjoy our close links with the Church, our Governors, the children and their families. Together, we work hard to provide a rich, stimulating and inclusive curriculum, which engages and prepares our children for future education and later life.
We want all our children to have special, happy memories of their time at Coulsdon Church of England Primary School. We believe it is important to educate the whole child, celebrate their uniqueness and nurture their talents. We aim to offer every child a holistic education focusing not only on academic achievement, but also on how each child develops socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Children are encouraged to be curious and courageous in their learning by taking on new challenges; doing their best; embracing and learning from mistakes; and celebrating effort and progress.
We are proud of our school and all it has to offer our children, their families and our community. We hope this website will give you a flavour of school life, but prospective parents are very welcome to come and experience our approach to learning first-hand. Please call the school office on 01737 554789 to arrange a visit.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school, and to a happy and successful partnership with all our new children and families.
Mr Paul Garratty
